Pay-as-you-go
Check in by QR code
The parker scans the code posted at the location and starts the session with a card on file. No app, and no duration to guess at.
Live running total
The ticket page shows what the session has cost so far, so the parker can watch the meter instead of estimating it.
Charged for the time parked
The stored card is charged when the session ends, so leaving early costs less and staying longer does not mean running back to add time.
Settles after the parker leaves
The final charge is taken off-session, so the parker can close the page, put the phone away, and still be billed correctly.
SMS link to the ticket
Each parker gets a text linking back to their live ticket, so checking the total does not mean finding the QR code again.
Per-location control and reporting
Turn pay-as-you-go on for the locations that need it and pull the pay-as-you-go report, with CSV export, for the ones that run it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the parker pay?
They check in with a card at the start of the session. That card is charged when the session ends, so there is nothing to pay at a machine on the way out.
Does the parker have to guess how long they will stay?
No. There is no duration to pick up front. The charge is based on the time actually parked, which is the point of pay-as-you-go.
What if the parker closes the ticket page?
The charge still goes through. ParkVo finalizes the payment off-session against the card on file, so the parker does not need to keep the page open or come back to it.
How is pay-as-you-go priced?
Through the same pricing model system used across ParkVo, so rates are configured per location by the operator rather than hard-coded into the checkout.
Can it run at one location and not another?
Yes. Pay-as-you-go is enabled per location, and each location that runs it appears in the pay-as-you-go report with its own sessions and revenue.
