Valet
Drop-off in one pass
The attendant creates the ticket at the curb, prints the stub and key tag, and hands the parker a receipt.
Plate capture and condition photos
The device camera reads the plate and stores damage photos on the ticket, so pickup disputes have evidence.
Keeps working when the network drops
Tickets are created offline with local ticket numbers, then sync once the device reconnects.
Parker-requested retrieval
Parkers get an e-ticket by SMS and request their car from it. Runners acknowledge the request, give an ETA, and mark it ready.
Payment and validation at pickup
Take cash or card, apply merchant validations, and record an override or a close without payment with a required reason.
Cards taken at the curb
The handheld that writes the ticket also takes contactless cards and phones, so there is no second card reader to carry. Cash and card land in the same shift totals, and tips are supported when the operator turns them on.
Shift totals by location
Each shift closes with its own cash, card, and tip totals, and the valet report shows tickets, totals, and CSV export by location.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if the valet device loses connection?
Attendants keep creating tickets offline. Each one gets a local ticket number and syncs to the operator portal once the device is back on the network.
How do parkers request their car?
The e-ticket sent by SMS has a request button. The request appears in the retrieval queue, where the team acknowledges it, sets an ETA, and marks the vehicle ready.
Can a ticket be closed without taking payment?
Yes, with a required reason that stays on the ticket. Force close is also available for stuck tickets, keeps the balance rather than zeroing it, and is recorded in the audit trail. Operators can turn force close off for a location.
What if the parker loses the ticket stub?
The attendant looks up the vehicle and releases it through the lost ticket path. The release, and any price override, is recorded with the reason.
How is valet cash reported?
Reporting is shift level. The Operations tab of the valet report shows what each shift collected, split into cash, card, and tips, per device and location.
